yin and restorative yoga: 4 Week Course

This class incorporates elements of Yin and Restorative Yoga. The intention of the practice is to increase circulation in the joints, improve mobility, decrease tension in the body and facilitate a state of rest and relaxation.

Breathwork, mindfulness and medication are explored throughout class. No experience in necessary. Everyone is welcome.

Instructor: rACHEL aTHEY

Rachel is a clinical counsellor and has been teaching yoga and mindfulness for the past 15 years. She is passionate about making healing modalities accessible to everyone, particularly those who have experienced trauma.


qIGONG, YOGA AND BREATHWORK: 7 Week CoursE

This Qi Gong course is geared towards anyone interested in accessing movement as tool in supporting vitality. The practice is intended to engage and restore pathways to health, from the inside out.

Qigong can be described as a mind-body-spirit practice that improves one’s mental and physical health by integrating posture, movement, breathing, and meditative awareness. This class explores gentle movement and exercises that are accessible to all levels.

Instructor: Kevin YEE-CHAN

Kevin is an acupuncturist, yoga and qigong practitioner, and social justice artist who has been fascinated by the functions of the body in health and community for as long as he can remember.

His practice weaves global, modern science with lineages of Chinese medicine and yoga. He is continually in awe of these tools and their ability to invite the warmth of curiosity and the spark of living medicine within.


Gentle yoga for grounding: 4 Week Course

This yoga class explores gentle movement, stretching, breathwork, and exercises that contribute to feeling grounded, centered, and calm in your mind and body. Suitable for all levels and beneficial for all, modifications given when possible. Many postures and exercises involve being seated on the ground, please check with your healthcare professional if you have any concerns prior to joining.

Instructor: Rachel Sadava

Rachel specializes in Yoga and Mindfulness for individuals dealing with anxiety and depression. Rachel has been teaching yoga, mindfulness and meditation for the past 15 years. She specializes in yoga for healing trauma and is passionate about making yoga practices accessible to everyone. In addition to running a yoga studio and training new teachers, Rachel is a social worker and is currently completing a masters in clinical therapy.
